Born in Winnipeg, James Smith has called Victoria home since 1971, when his parents moved from Ottawa. Over the years, James has developed a deep connection to the community and now resides in Saanich with his wife and daughter.

In his youth, James was an avid sports enthusiast, playing hockey, lacrosse, ball and soccer. Lacrosse was definitely at the top of list for James. After a knee injury, he discovered a new passion in golf, which he continues to enjoy today.
